Delivery & Returns – Online Prom Dress Orders

This section applies only to prom dresses purchased online via the Lace and Button Bridal website and is intended to be displayed alongside the “Delivery & Return” button on product pages.

Delivery

  • Orders are dispatched within the timeframe stated on the product page.

  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier delays outside our control.

  • Standard delivery costs are refundable only if an order is cancelled within the legal cooling‑off period.

  • Express or premium delivery charges are non‑refundable.

Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer once the order has been delivered to the provided address.

Returns & Cancellation (Online Prom Dresses Only)

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers have the right to cancel their online prom dress order within 14 days of receiving the item.

Conditions for Return

Returned dresses must:

  • Be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered

  • Be in original, resale‑ready condition

  • Have all original tags and packaging attached

  • Show no signs of wear, including makeup marks, perfume, deodorant, odour, stains, or damage

Dresses returned in a condition that reduces their resale value may be subject to a deduction from the refund.

Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Refunds include the cost of the dress and standard outbound delivery only

  • Express or upgraded delivery charges are non‑refundable

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return postage costs

  • We recommend using a tracked and insured service

  • Lace and Button Bridal is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your prom dress arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

We will offer a repair, replacement, or refund in line with UK consumer law.
